Store owners Randy and Karen Horn started their Learning Express in 1999. After 20 years of working in a large corporation, Randy "hung up" his suits and ties for good to pursue his life-long dream of becoming an entrepreneur. And, with Karen's background as an elementary school teacher, owning and operating an educational toy store was a natural fit.

Learning Express has become the favorite toy store for the many families who frequent the store. We take great pride in calling ourselves "Your Neighborhood Toy Store" because we are just that : a hub of activity , a meeting spot for kids and families, a place where we get to know you by name and where going the extra mile for you is the norm.

Our product mix is carefully selected from toy manufactures around the world ... classic toys that have passed the test of time as well as the latest toys on the leading edge of innovation. Our toys encourage curiosity, creativity and have extraordinary play value. We carefully evaluate every toy so we know they will delight children of all ages. Our Birthday Gift Registry Program
Have you heard of our Birthday Buckets? A birthday bucket is a physical wish-list or registry for kids. To get started, you bring the birthday child into the store about 2 to 3 weeks prior to their party. We give the child a large, personalized bucket to fill up with the toys they want for their birthday. We provide cards to insert in your invitations so that your birthday party guests know your child has a birthday bucket at Learning Express. Your party guests can then select gifts right out of the bucket. As always, we can wrap the gifts for FREE !

A birthday bucket is truly a win-win-win scenario! The birthday child gets the things they want for their birthday, friends no longer have to guess or call mom or dad for ideas, and best of all - no more duplicate gifts !
